A black and orange striped tarantula.

                                                            I. The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula

In the wonderful world of the amazon rainforest also in the southwest lives an incredible creature called The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula. The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula amazed me because of it's unique flexibility, it's expert climb ratings, and it's poisonous venom used to kill prey. My journey will also tell you about thier behavior and thier food if you have one as a pet.

                                                            II. Family

Every spider has a family especially The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula anyway it's family is named the Hairy Mygolomorphs. Also its related cousins are scorpions, springtails, and mites  but, scientists have not discovered a group of them called or they're independent creatures. Purseweb tarantulas however if they bite you a person would die in 5 minutes without extensive care in a hospital quickly.

                                                           III. Appearance

The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantulas look like this. They have black or brown irratating and prickly hairs covering thier whole body. Also it's legs are 10 to 8 inches long and they can weigh more than 10 ounces.

                                                          IV.Habitat

Like I told you The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula lives and nests in the Amazon rainforest and is in the Southwest but, it does not migrate. The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula moves place to place 10 feet which means that it's range.                           V.Diet

The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula's favorite munchies are small mammals, lizards, hummingbirds, frogs, and even snakes. Weird, well anyway the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula gets it's munchies by spinning a web made of silk or it digs a hole and makes a burrow for it's home and with either one both nests makes the tarantula sense the vibrations of the insect stuck in the web or walking by the hidden burrow and then snatching it.                                                                                                                 .                          A black tarantula feasting on an insect.

                                                                          VI.Enemies

It's natural enemies are wasps and other types of bees around the world. Some say if you get bitten by a tarantula you die but, you don't. Sadly children get bitten by pursewebs and die swiftly.

VII.Defense

It defends itself by rubbing it's hind legs and shooting prickly and irratating hairs at the predator or attacker. Also it bites the predator or prey then it slowly faints and then dies and then eats the predator or prey.Or it just walks away alone.

VIII.Reproduction

The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula reproduces when the male and the female mate then the female tries to eat the male but, the male sometimes escapes. The babies are born after Spring.Female Goliath Bird Eating Tarantulas don't have litters only mammals do.Baby tarantulas are called sprites.A tarantula lives for over than 20 years.

IX.Relationship to Humans                                           The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula does'nt like humans but, some get trained and can be adapted to human life.

                                                            X.Population

The population of tarantulas is a colossal amount in Europe but, not in South America sadly because lumber jack companies are cutting down trees crushing thier burrows and thier very close to extinction in America. The  Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula is not rare, or endangered. It is threatened however, because lumber jack companies are cutting down trees and crushing thier homes.

                                                       XI.Sleeping Habits

A Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula does'nt have sleeping habits it just stands still and goes to sleep. It does'nt curl or close it's eyes it just stands still like a frog and goes to sleep instantly.

                                                       XII.Adaption

A Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula does'nt need to adapt to nature because it lives in the rainforest and you know its warm in the rainforest and it has warm climates.

                                                      XIII.Habits

A tarantula's habit is to eat insects and bugs that carry deadly diseases. That can kill people.Like in a tribe.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           XIV.Unique Characteristics

Like I told you on chapter I the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula amazed me because it's unique flexibility, it's expert climb ratings, and it's poisonous venom used to kill it's prey.My mouth would drop in awe if someone did'nt like the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula's unique characteristics.

                                                    XV.Conclusion:Take It Away

Well, I hope you make up your mind to save the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantulas and many more animals from extinction because the rainforest is a sensational place and the surroundings are magnificent if the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantulas die from extinction who's going to munch the mosquitoes and other polluting bugs.Farewell for now.
